Terms of Service

These terms apply when you work with zeyweb: when we build a project for you, host or maintain your website or app, or provide support.

Our services

We design and develop websites, web and mobile apps, online stores, blockchain products and custom software, and provide hosting, maintenance, security and support. The exact work for each project is described in its quote.

Projects & quotes

Each project starts with a written quote that sets out the scope, timeline and price. Work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately before we start it.

Payments

Projects are usually paid in milestones. Subscription plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly. Invoices are available in your client portal and are due by the date shown.

Subscriptions, renewals & cancellation

Website, E-commerce, Mobile App and Hosting & Maintenance plans are subscriptions in US dollars, paid through PayPal. The price and billing period are shown before you pay, and the amount charged is always the amount shown.

Monthly plans are charged every month at the monthly price. Yearly plans are one upfront payment for 12 months of service at the price of 10 months; they are never charged monthly.

Plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period, at the same price, until you cancel. You can cancel any time from your client portal: you won't be charged again and you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for. Payments already made are not refunded for the unused part of a period unless required by law or agreed in writing.

You can switch to a different plan in the same service category at any time; your old subscription is cancelled when the new one starts. Each plan covers the scope listed for it. Major custom development, out-of-scope changes, domains, paid plugins, third-party software, SMS charges, payment processor fees, app store fees and paid API usage are not included unless stated, and are quoted before any work starts.

Hosting and basic maintenance are included in Website, E-commerce and Mobile App plans; you don't need a separate hosting plan for the same project. Resources such as storage and traffic are allocated per plan and are not unlimited. If a payment fails, plan features may be paused until the payment succeeds.

Ownership

Once a project is paid in full, you own the code, designs and content we created for it. Third-party software, fonts and services remain under their own licences.

Hosting & support

We work to keep hosted services available and secure, and respond to support requests according to your plan. Response times and any emergency cover are set out in your plan or agreement.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your client portal login safe and for the content you ask us to publish.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or data you did not ask us to back up.
